Webshop Software

Shopify

Our webshop is developed using Shopify software. Personal data you provide for our services is shared with Shopify. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with technical support, and they will never use your data for another purpose. Based on the agreement we have with them, Shopify is obliged to take appropriate security measures. These measures include SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Shopify is a certified processor of credit card data. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information about your use of the software. No personal data is collected and/or stored. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own group to further improve services. Shopify considers the applicable legal retention periods for (personal) data. The EU/US Privacy Shield applies; your data may be processed in the United States.

Email and Mailing Lists

Klaviyo

Our website uses Klaviyo, a third party that handles email traffic from our website and sends newsletters if applicable. All confirmation emails you receive from our website are sent via Klaviyo servers. Klaviyo will never use your name and email address for its purposes. Each automated email sent through our website includes an ‘unsubscribe’ link. Clicking on this link means you will no longer receive emails from our website. This may significantly affect the functionality of our website. Your personal data is securely stored by Klaviyo. Klaviyo uses cookies and other internet technologies to track whether emails are opened and read. Klaviyo reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and share information with third parties for that purpose.

For our regular business email traffic, we use the services of Klaviyo. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Klaviyo does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.

Payment Processors

Mollie/Stripe

For processing (part of) payments in our webshop, we use the Mollie/Stripe platform. Mollie/Stripe processes your name, address, and residence information and your payment details, such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in that context, share (anonymized) data with third parties.

All the guarantees mentioned above regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie’s/Stripe’s services for which they engage third parties. Mollie does not retain your data longer than is allowed based on legal terms.

Klarna

For processing (part of) payments in our webshop, we use the Klarna platform. Klarna processes your name, address, and residence information and your payment details, such as your bank account or credit card number. Klarna has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Klarna reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in that context, share (anonymized) data with third parties.

In the case of a deferred payment request (credit facility), Klarna shares personal data and information about your financial position with credit rating agencies. All guarantees mentioned above regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Klarna’s services for which they engage third parties. Klarna does not retain your data longer than is allowed based on legal terms.

Reviews

TrustPilot

We collect reviews through the Trustpilot platform. If you leave a review through Trustpilot, you are required to provide a name and email address. Trustpilot shares this information with us so that we can link the review to your order. Trustpilot also publishes your name on its own website. In some cases, Trustpilot may contact you for an explanation of your review. When we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They only use this data to invite you to leave a review.

Trustpilot has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data.  reserves the right to engage third parties for the purpose of providing services, for which we have given  permission. All guarantees mentioned above regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of the services for which engages third parties.

Shipping and Logistics

DHL

When you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of DHL to perform the deliveries. For this purpose, we must share your name, address, and residence information with DHL. DHL uses this data only for the purpose of executing the agreement. In case DHL engages subcontractors, DHL also provides your data to these parties.
